Lottery enthusiasts across Missouri checked their tickets following the Wednesday, September 9, 2026 drawings, which delivered a fresh slate of winning combinations across several state and multi-jurisdictional games. The Missouri Lottery oversees a diverse lineup of gaming options, giving players multiple daily opportunities to compete for substantial cash prizes ranging from fixed daily payouts to rolling multi-million-dollar jackpots.
Leading the evening’s results was the nationwide Powerball drawing, which continues to attract major player attention across the state. The winning numbers selected for the Wednesday, September 9 drawing were 09, 40, 42, 55, and 65, with a red Powerball number of 23. Players who added the multiplier option to their wagers saw a Power Play number of 2 drawn, doubling non-jackpot secondary prizes for eligible tickets.
Alongside the primary Powerball drawing, the Missouri Lottery also reported the outcome for the Powerball Double Play feature. This secondary drawing gives participants an additional chance to win up to $10 million using the same numbers selected on their main Powerball ticket. The winning Double Play numbers drawn for September 9 were 32, 33, 58, 62, and 69, accompanied by a Powerball of 18.
In-state draw games also yielded new winning combinations, starting with the daily jackpot favorite, Show Me Cash. The winning five-number sequence drawn on Wednesday evening consisted of 02, 04, 06, 13, and 33. The daily rolling game awards its top prize to any player who matches all five numbers drawn from a field of 39.
Daily numbers players tracked results across two distinct drawings for both the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games. In the Pick 3 Midday drawing, the winning digits were 9-3-3, paired with a Midday Wild number of 1. Later that evening, the Pick 3 Evening draw produced the sequence 3-4-5, featuring an Evening Wild number of 2. The Wild feature gives players additional pathways to align winning combinations depending on their selected play style.
The Pick 4 game followed a similar dual-drawing routine on September 9, offering larger fixed prizes for four-digit precision. The Pick 4 Midday drawing produced the numbers 2-3-1-4 with a Midday Wild number of 0. In the subsequent Pick 4 Evening session, the winning combination landed on 0-1-9-8, with an Evening Wild number of 6.
Players participating in Cash Pop, a single-number selection game drawn five separate times throughout the day, saw results spanning from early morning to late evening. The Early Bird drawing yielded the number 04, followed by 07 in the Morning draw. In the afternoon Matinee session, the winning number was 03. The Prime Time drawing produced 09, and the Night Owl drawing closed out the day with the winning number 10.
With the latest figures certified, lottery officials outlined the redemption protocols for players holding winning tickets. Missouri Lottery retail locations are authorized to validate and pay out winning tickets with prize values up to and including $600. Players holding tickets within this dollar limit can claim their funds directly at any participating lottery counter across the state upon presenting their ticket.
For prizes exceeding $600, claimants must follow expanded redemption procedures through official Missouri Lottery channels. Winners have the choice to process their claims in person or submit them via mail. Those seeking to visit one of the Missouri Lottery’s regional offices in person must schedule an appointment in advance, as walk-in prize claims for larger tiers are handled by appointment only.
Winners electing to claim their winnings by mail must complete a comprehensive verification packet to ensure secure processing. The required submission consists of an official Missouri Lottery winner claim form, the original signed winning ticket, a legible photocopy of a government-issued photo identification card, and a completed IRS Form W-9.
To safeguard winning tickets, the lottery emphasizes that claimants must immediately print their name, full address, telephone number, and signature across the back of the ticket before mailing.
